Organic Shishito Pepper plant
Growing in popularity shishito make a great addition to the garden and table. Shishito peppers are mild although some fruits in hot summer conditions may set more capsaicin and become slightly spicy. Like jalapenos they will turn red when mature but are most often harvested green. The peppers can be eaten raw but are traditionally grilled or seared and eaten as a side or used as a condiment.
